FAQs

MJD Paving and Masonry Inc.

  • When can I drive on my new driveway?

After the completion of your driveway installation, we recommend waiting 2 to 3 days before driving on the surface. This allows sufficient time for proper setting and curing of the materials used.
  • What are the different paver types?

At MJD Paving and Masonry, we offer a variety of paver options including concrete, rubber, brick, and natural stones such as limestone, sandstone, slate, granite, and travertine. Our paver driveways typically have a lifespan of 30 to 50 years, ensuring long-term value for your investment. Contact us to discuss your paver options and begin your project.
  • Are estimates free?

Yes, we provide complimentary on-site estimates. Our team typically completes and delivers these estimates within 24 to 48 hours of the initial assessment.
  • How often should I reseal my driveway?

For asphalt pavements, we recommend resealing every two years. However, approximately half of our clients opt for annual resealing to maximize the aesthetic benefits of the sealcoating process.
  • What should I do to prepare for your service visit?

Prior to our team's arrival, we kindly request that you clear your driveway of all vehicles, boats, equipment, and any other objects. For further information or to schedule a service, please contact our office.
